The Most Popular Ice Creams Flavors and Their Origin Story

Canadians really like their ice cream; they eat 9.5 litres of ice cream per capita. We looked into that and found some fascinating facts, based on that we are listing the popular flavors and their history.


1.      Vanilla: For almost 29 percent of people, vanilla is the first choice.
History: The Aztecs liked vanilla in their food, and when Spanish raided the area, they got affixed on the flavor and brought the vanilla bean to Spain, from there, it moved throughout the Europe. In the early 18th century, the first ice cream recipes appeared, we all know what happened next.

History: came into existence in the late 19th century, featuring strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream altogether. It has its origin in Italy, from where it was brought to the North America by the Italian immigrants.
